10 years ago we designed a modular engine cradle as an innovative way to
mount a motorcycle engine to a vehicle type CV & axle rear drive
and dual A arm suspension.
Our engine cradle design has the motor, suspension, and drive all together in one modular assembly.
6 bolts and this complete rear can be removed as an assembly to work on
your engine or whatever you need to do. In so many buggies, the
chassis is built to the motor and reverse or live axle with no way to
change later. Our engine cradle designs give you options to upgrade to a larger or different motor, or add reverse without having to build a whole new chassis.
The live axle engine cradle and RPM engine cradles have the same mounting plates for easy change.
We run 930 cv's & axles and the complete assembly is 64" to 68" wide to the outside of the tires. Travel of 13"-15"
Front tabs match Suzuki GSXR 600-1000 engines. These are removable and
can be easily adapted to fit many other engines. We have customers
using this cradle with Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha engines.
Our RPM engine cradle lets your mount one of the best reverse gear boxes
out there into the cradle. This makes for easy chain adjustment.
4 side locking bolts keep it in place. Just loosen these and adjust the turnbuckles to rotate the gear box and adjust chain tension.
We have many customers using these on UTVs and rebuilding older short travel dune buggies, as well as many new builds.
Approximate measurements for the cradle are 38L x 15W x 20H
